Belt Training Idlers
Introduction
Training idlers have been developed to assist in maintaining a conveyor belt's alignment under changing load and / or operating conditions.
Training idlers can be deployed on the carrying-side and return-side of a conveyor and are especially helpful in their ability to detect misalignment and to automatically adjust or force the belt back into alignment.
Over the years Suppliers have developed many varieties of training idlers and this section of the Ckit Handbook aims to provide some information on the different types and models available, as well as the preferred locations for using training idlers along a conveyor.
