Conveyor Belt Arrestor

Gruisfontein Engineering c.c. as manufacturer warrants each new Conveyer Belt arrestor including all equipment and accessories supplied by Gruisfontein Engineering to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service.

The manufacturer's obligation under this warranty is limited to repairing or replacing at its option, any part or parts thereof which shall within one year from date of delivery be returned to Gruisfontein Engineering or its agent, and with examination shall disclose to be defective. The provisions of this warranty shall not apply to any arrestor which has not be serviced in accordance with the maintenance schedule or has been subjected to misuse or negligence or has been serviced with pirate parts. Alterations in any way which has not been approved in writing by Gruisfontein Engineering and/or to affect adversely the performance and reliability of the arrestor.

This warranty expressly excludes liability for consequential damages caused by latent defect and is in lieu of any other warranties expressed or implied including any implied warranty off fitness for a particular purpose.

Additional Warranty After 12 Months

Gruisfontein Engineering warrants all steelwork including arresting arm but excluding other moving part to be free of defaults for a period of 5 (five) years from date of delivery. The same conditions apply as with the initial 12 month guarantee.
