The MATO belt clamps are designed for safe clamping of conveyor belts. The belt clamps are manufactured and tested to quality assurance procedures. Specially designed to hold the belt at 3 times the safe belt working load.
After final assembly each belt clamp is proof tested on a special test rig to twice the safe working load to ensure that no damage or permanent deformation occurs.
The design of the MATO belt clamps has a patented safety system, which allows the clamping force on the belt to increase in proportion to the pulling force applied to the belt. The belt will always be safety clamped within the specified safe working load of the belt clamp.

Standard widths are 1000mm ans 1200mm, other sizes are available to order. Please note for safety reasons the clamps should only be used with the correct width of belt, i.e. a 1200mm belt clamp must only be used on a 1200mm belt.
The MATO belt cutters are designed for safe and accurate belt cutting. It is very important to cut the belt accurately to achieve a good quality splice. The belt cutter incorporates a square to aid cutting the belt end square.
The MATO belt cutters have been developed for conditions arduous in the mining and aggregate industries. There are two types of cutters offered in standard sizes of 1200, 1500 and 1800mm.

The MATO square is used in conjunction with the belt knife for cutting the belt end square to the edge of the belt. The squaring angle contains a slot to guide the knife blade; this facilitates a straight cut and safe operation of the knife. |
