Braking Time

t_e = (J_o * ω₂)/M_R

a) To find the braking time "t_e" use :
t_e = (J_o * ω₂)/M_r

b) To find M_R for a given braking time t_e, see conveyor :
M_R = (J_o * ω₂)/t_e

Note: t_e, M_R or M_B can be the limitation for some equipment and machinery when choosing the equipment.
