ELECTRO-HYDRAULIC THRUSTER TYPES
A FAIL SAFE BRAKE WITH THE FOLLOWING STANDARD FEATURES AND OPTIONS:
The Torque is applied by compression and electrically released by a electro hydraulic thrustor.
The Thrustors are supplied with IP 65 enclosure as standard. Tropical and corrosion, explosion or flameproof versions are available. Voltage 380/525 V. Braking time is approximately 0,4 seconds. (Use D.C. type for quick braking). For delayed release or applying brake specify our S. value. Limit switches can be fitted.
The Frame is manufactured to DIN 15435. The torque is adjustable down to 20% of rated maximum torque. Brake linings are combined asbestos (friction = 0,4) as a standard, bonded to aluminum shoes. All pivot points are fitted with self lubricating phospha-bronze bushes. Pins are hot-dipped galvanised. (Grease holes are optional). Automatic lining wear compensator device is available if required. Painted primer and finished with industrial rust protection to spec. Plascon SL839/1A colour blue.
