Fenaflex - Spacer Coupling

Having determined Fenaflex size using selection method (pages 4 and 5) see that Spacer flange will suit required distance between shaft ends.

The 'Fenaflex' Spacer Coupling is designed for use on applications where it is an advantage to be able to move either shaft axially without disturbing driving or driven machine, e.g.: replacement of centrifugal pump rotors. This is achieved by the removal of the coupling tyre and spacer.

The spacer lengths shown are the minimum possible. Longer spacers can be supplied to special order.

+ l₆ Amount by which clamping screws need to be withdrawn to release tyre.
l₂ is the normal distance between shafts. End float which increases or decreases this distance by a slight amount is permissible.
* l₅ is the wrench clearance necessary to tighten or slacken clamping ring screws.
Sizes F40 R12 through F100 R30 are normally carried in stock.

NOTE: FLANGES/CLAMPING RINGS STAMPED SIZE WITH SUFFIX 'M' ARE THREADED FOR METRIC FASTENERS
